New ideas/Creative arts/Teachers talk laptops

Music I can see situations where we’re just talking and they’ll be taking notes or then we’ll be doing an activity where they have to write a composition or develop a sound or go to the Internet to find something out, so I can see us using it for a lot of the time. I think the students that have the laptops will have more opportunity to experiment with ideas and get feedback straight away so, if I get the opportunity to use some composition software, they’ll have the opportunity to trial their ideas and then hear straight away what their idea should sound like and they’ll get some immediate feedback, whereas someone that’s using pen and paper doesn’t get that immediate feedback, they have to go and find another musician to play it for them: ‘This is how it sounds. Oh, okay, I need to fix that up.’ There’s a lengthy process in that, that’s required. .
